Patricia Kime

Patricia Kime is a journalist and author whose work has appeared in numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, Defense News, Military Times, Military.com and Kaiser Health News. She has covered military and veterans health care since 2011, reporting on combat-related illness and injuries and Defense and Veterans Affairs health policy. In 2020, she received the top prize for excellence in health care journalism from the Association of Health Care Journalists and was named one of the top influencers in the veterans space by HillVets in 2015. As a military spouse, she played an instrumental role in creating several programs for families new to the Marine Corps. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Virginia.
